Construction Field Calculator for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

Construction Field Calculator (Field Calc) is developed by Dzmitry Dziachenka. This policy describes the app, this website and voluntary support email.

1. The short version

No app account, developer-operated backend, advertising, tracking or analytics SDK. Calculations and saved work run locally. The app does not automatically upload your jobs to the developer. Apple handles purchases; files leave the workspace when you choose a sharing or file destination. Normal operating-system backups may also include your local data.

2. Information processed on your iPhone

The app stores jobs and notes, saved calculation inputs and results, formulas and assumptions, material prices and presets, unfinished drafts, display preferences, favorites and recent tools. Job names and notes may contain personal or confidential information you enter. The app also keeps local purchase-access state and review-request eligibility, including qualifying-save counts, dates and prior request attempts.

Saved work uses local storage with no app-managed iCloud sync. Durable files may be included in iCloud or computer backups according to your device settings. Temporary export files are excluded from backup and cleaned up after use or when the app next starts. The app uses iOS file protection; it does not offer a separate encrypted vault.

3. Information the app does not collect

The app does not access your location, camera, photo library, microphone, contacts or advertising identifier. It has no hosted support form, remote crash-reporting SDK or automatic project upload. Local usage information used for recent tools and review timing is not sent to the developer.

4. Apple services

Apple’s StoreKit handles product information, purchase, restore and verified entitlement. The app does not receive your payment-card details. Apple also controls whether a system review prompt appears; the app records an attempt, not a rating or a presumed response. Apple processes its services under Apple’s privacy policy.

5. Permissions and your choices

No account or sensitive permission is required to calculate, read legal pages or get support. Import uses the system file picker for the file you choose. Export and sharing use your selected system destination, which may be a cloud or messaging provider with its own policies. The app does not request broad access to your files.

PDF, CSV, JSON backups and recovery copies can contain job names, notes, measurements and prices. Review them before sharing. Sending a support email is optional; include only what you want the developer to receive. Opening legal or support links makes a browser request to the destination website.

6. Retention and deletion

Local work remains until you delete it. Delete a record or job with confirmation, or use Settings → Delete all local data to remove jobs, presets, drafts and workspace preferences. That action preserves purchase entitlement and review-request cooldown history. Deleting local data does not remove files already exported, copies in other apps, operating-system backups, Apple’s purchase records or support email. Manage those copies through their respective providers.

Support is handled through ordinary email. Messages and attachments remain in the developer’s mailbox unless manually deleted; there is no automatic deletion schedule. You may request deletion of your support correspondence by email. Your own sent copies and your email provider’s retained copies are managed separately.

7. This website and support email
